The month of Abib (or Aviv) is the same month in which the people were brought out of Egypt.

Understanding Abib/Aviv
"Abib" or "Aviv" means “ripened” or “ready to be harvested.” It refers to the wild barley in Jerusalem that we search for near the end of the 12th biblical month. Note: the 12th month is not December. December belongs to the Gregorian calendar, while the 12th biblical (Torah) month begins with the 12th new moon cycle of the year, which does not align with December.

The Importance of Biblical Timekeeping
Each person must understand this foundational truth to grasp the full picture of biblical dates. The way the world keeps time and the way the Most High Creator keeps time—and expects us to keep time—are not the same. This is one of the reasons the world views us as a peculiar people. We are supposed to appear different because we are different. Sadly, there is nothing peculiar about the current Christian church system. Nearly everything the world does, it also does—every worldly holiday, every commemorative occasion.

A Call to Come Out of the World
Yahushua (that is His true name—not the man-made name "Jesus") told us to come out of the world. That doesn’t mean we need to move to the mountains or hide in isolation. It means we are to refrain from participating in things not ordered by the sacred laws. Christmas, Easter, earthly birthdays, Valentine’s Day, and many other man-made celebrations are not part of His Way. They never were and never can be.
We must know the appointed times the Most High has ordered for us to celebrate and find joy in them, leaving behind the traditions of men.

A New Dispensation Has Come
As of January 25, 2021 (by the world’s reckoning), a new dispensation has begun—one that the Christian church system cannot stop. That system is shrinking, for the Most High has been calling His people out of a structure that does not truly know or teach the truth.

This is the beginning of an era of profound and amazing revelation. It begins with the opening of eyes and ears that were once shut due to the misdeeds of past generations.

Our Journey Since 2008
We are currently a small group of people who have stood together since 2008. United in one belief, we have weathered many hardships. Yet, with the help of the Most High, we remain undefeated.

With His strength, we continue to walk in faith, holding fast to the promises given to us. Slowly but surely, we are beginning to see those promises fulfilled.

Truth Seekers of the Ancient Path
We seek truth about spiritual things, and with the Spirit’s help, we have been faithfully carrying out the revelations of the Ancient One regarding the ancient laws—laws hidden from many for far too long.

We have been called out of the Christian church system and shown how we were being led astray, doing things that were actually against the Most High while believing they were pleasing to Him. Because of this, we walked away from that system. We must stand firm against worldly traditions and the dark spirit that has overtaken today’s church, blinding people to the truth of the eternal laws of the Most High.

Standing Against the Lie
Despite ongoing pressure to conform, we have resisted—and with the help of the Most High, we will continue to resist the Lie and embrace the truth.

We no longer participate in Easter, Christmas, or birthdays in the worldly manner (see how we celebrate birthdays), nor do we keep time according to the world’s calendar (see the sacred calendar).
