New Year- New Birth
And Yod Hey Waw Hey spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.—Exodus 12:1–2 (KJV)
Our New Year is not the same as the world. It does not happen on Jan 1st. This is not the way Yah counts time. The time when the new moon and the season of the Abib—the ripening of the barley—come together, that is the official beginning of spring and the official New Year according to the Creator’s Law. see about New Year
This is not only about it being the New Year. It’s also about us officially acknowledging (testifying) that we, as a collective group (the people of the Mission), are supposed to have new growth in all areas.
It’s about collective productivity, and thus upward mobility—collectively.
It doesn’t matter what year it is or how old we are—every year, we are birthed anew. We are renewed, refreshed, and spiritually baptized because we are reborn. However, it is not really a start-over as one may think. It is like birthing new branches. For we are as a tree, and as trees birth new leaves and stems in the spring, so should we.
We rejoice because it is the real New Year—the Creator’s New Year. And most of all, during this same month on the 14th day, the Passover Lamb, Yahushua the Messiah, blessed us with the Marking of Protection.
Since we grow by gaining truthful knowledge, we celebrate Truth. We celebrate the Spirit of Truth that came as the prophet Yahushua, who was appointed to open the door to the Spirit for us by obeying Yah. It is because of what He did. He stood so the doors could be opened to us to hear the Spirit of Truth’s guidance, so we can be free of man-made mindsets, win the battle of the mind, and move into the promises of spiritual prosperity, which yields physical prosperity.
We celebrate that although it wasn’t easy for Yahushua, He obeyed to the end and was birthed anew into the spirit realm—more powerful and truly alive. We thank Yahushua for this. We celebrate Yahushua at this time for this—not for the day He came to this world, but for the day He went out. For it was His new birth—and our new beginning.
Remember, this happened during Passover time. And it is not referred to as “Easter” by us at all, for Yahushua celebrated Passover—not what the church refers to as the “Lord’s Supper,” which is the time the current church celebrates the pagan Easter, most really believing it is a real day the Creator wants us to celebrate.
So, we celebrate this season as our birthday. By this, I mean our birthday as new birth, and we celebrate it as a collective group.
Yes, our New Year starts at the beginning of spring, when the barley ripens in Jerusalem. This is our covenant with YAH. It is a most blessed occasion. See The Sacred Calendar
This is when we take stock of where we are,
-
what we have done over the past year,
-
and what we must do for the new year. It is asking Yah for the plan for the year,
We get the answers, and write it down. We know that doing what Yah lays out for us to do pleases the Creator, and we get blessed and manifest it through yielding a big bounty of amazing fruits.
Together, we pray and write the plan on how to collectively be productive. We concentrate on what we need to do as a group to help up the one who wants to be helped up.
(We have found some people want rewards but do not want to obey and intentionally disobey again and again, yet they expect us to stay around and help them. We are not about those people.)
We seek out and stand by those who respect the Creator’s decisions in their lives, no matter how hard it may be to swallow.
This is the time we officially welcome new members into their new birth. Although someone may have started studying during the past year, this is the time of the official ceremony. It is not really officially done when they started.
The order of things
The Abib Barley New Year—the first day—is our birthday, and we actually party and have a grand time.
The Ceremony of Rebirth
this is the time of rebirth, but since our rebirth and transformation does not happen all at once, it is an ongoing process born again as we are commanded that we must be born again
Though someone may have officially begun studying with us during the past year, this is the time of their official spiritual welcome. The ceremony of rebirth occurs the first month on the first day and not at the moment of first contact.
We not only celebrate that day—we celebrate the whole month. The first 14 days are the season for new birth celebration.
We celebrate Yahushua the Messiah—not for the day He came to this world, but for the day He went out. For it was His new birth and our new beginning. So we celebrate the fact that He gave us a new beginning and opportunities for many new births.
The twilight of the 14th day, we start celebrating Passover. This is about the mark of protection.
When the Hebrews were told to mark the door with the blood of the lamb so the angel of death would pass over their house and not bring death upon them, that was symbolic of the marking on our doors—our person, our bodies—with protection. This is protection against many things, and that unappointed illnesses and disasters will not touch us. (Unappointed because there are illnesses that may be appointed for anyone by the Creator—for testing, etc., as Job was tested.)
Spiritual Intentionality
The first day is new year celebration and the official ceremony of rebirth
From the 2nd to the 13th day, we focus on practical planning:
-
Business ideas and setting up for launchings if necessary because some ideas maybe for immediate and some for long term
-
Educational goals (learning a new instrument, skill, or trade) this is accroding to revelations of purpose. and a person need to be prepared and helped to get in line to establish their talent
-
Praying, discussing, and discerning who in the group should take on what responsibilities
-
Uplifting each member's productivity through prayer, support, and action
Then the 15th to the 21st is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This time we are evaluating our selves for any errors we may done and asking for help to get straight.
Why because living in errors cause big trouble. It is like yeast that rises dough. it starts small but if not checked get bigger and finally gets out of control. So every year we are given a chance to get corrected and have the opportunity to get back in line. This season of unleaven bread is our big opportunity to right wrongs.
If and when the Most High gives us any correction we are held accountable to listen and obey.
From the 22nd onwards to the end of the month, it is finalizing what must be done first.
The whole first month is about
-
our unity,
-
individual productivity and prosperity
-
group productivity and prosperity.
It is about checking on ourselves if we are lining up with Yah's plan
Review Bullet Points
Spiritual New Year and Rebirth
-
Every year, regardless of age, we are spiritually reborn—renewed, refreshed, and baptized.
-
This is not a complete restart but a branching out, like trees birthing new leaves in spring.
-
Our New Year aligns with Abib, the ripening of the barley—not January 1st.
-
This is Yah’s calendar, not the world’s. It's based on the new moon and the season of Abib.
-
Exodus 12:1–2 confirms this timing as the beginning of months.
Spiritual Purpose of the New Year
-
This is more than a date—it’s a season of collective growth, reflection, and productivity.
-
It’s a time to evaluate the past year and ask Yah for the plan for the year ahead.
-
We write the vision, commit to the instructions, and act on Yah’s direction.
-
We focus on truth, seeking the Spirit of Truth, and celebrate Yahushua, who opened the way by His obedience.
Collective Birthday & Season Overview
-
The first day of Abib is our spiritual birthday and New Year celebration.
-

-
The first 14 days of the month are for celebrating new birth and preparing for what's ahead.
Passover & the Mark of Protection
-
On the 14th day at twilight, we begin celebrating Passover.

Protection shields us from unappointed illnesses or disasters—though some trials may still be divinely appointed (like Job’s).
